Drive Multi-Combination Vehicle (MC)
Olympic Driving School is authorised by Orbit Training Qld Pty Ltd to deliver and assess TLIC4006A Drive Multi-Combination Vehicle.
This course covers the following subjects and on successful completion of the course a Statement of Attainment will be issued:
- Drive the Multi-Combination Vehicle
- Reverse the Multi-Combination Vehicle
- Couple and uncouple trailers of the Multi-Combination Vehicle
- Emergency Procedures
- Pre-operational inspections
- Minor repairs to vehicle and trailers
- Work Diary (Standard Hours only)
- Guidelines for Mult-Combination Vehicles and Routes (Maps)
- Guidelines for Over Dimensional Vehicles
- Chain of Responsibility (Fatigue, Loading and speed management)
- Load Security
- Know Your Vehicle
- Getting the Most from Your Vehicle
- Know Your Business
Requirements for this Course:
- You must have held a HR or HC licence for a continuous period of 12 months
- Your driver licence must be current
- If you are upgrading from a HR licence you will be required to do a driving assessment in a HC vehicle before progressing on to the MC. This assesment is of a 2 hour duration and is not included in the course costs. If you prove Not Yet Competent in this vehicle then further training will be required or you will have to obtain experience in a HC before you can attempt the MC Course.
If you are upgrading from a HC licence but have not driven a HC for some time then you may require experience in a HC before attempting course.
